a massive task undertaken
The Colourflex team has just completed one of its largest orders to date. We were approached by a large high street accessories company to provide sale stickers across their UK and Europe stores. This equated to over 65 million labels. The customer provided a delivery date which required long days and weekend shifts but the goods were delivered in good time and we have already had a repeat order - they were very happy with both the delivery and the product. A massive thanks to everyone involved in getting this order over the line!
uk pub labels
Today we produced labels for a large uk pub chain. These labels are used in the pub kitchens as food safe labels. They are produced on our Nilpeter FB printing press and rewound on our wide web Bar Graphic machine. These labels are produced 500 per roll and distributed around the UK.

fanfolded labels
These labels were ordered by a customer who supplies BMW. These are used for coding their outer pallets before they are distributed.
The labels are cut, fan folded and produced two chambers across. They are then folded into 5000 label batches by the machine. These are then boxed and shipped
colourflex produce charity labels
Today we have run some charity labels for Great Ormond Street Hospital in conjunction with CostCo. These were finished on smaller roles to help the customer to distribute them easily throughout the stores.

ISO9001:2015
Today Colourflex has been audited by an external body on the ISO9001:2015 accreditation. We had previously worked on ISO9001:2008 and moving over to the new system has been very involved, time consuming and required significant changes to the day to day running of our business.
We passed the audit without a single advisory point and the assessor indicated his pleasure at how well our company is run.
We tend think that on the whole we do a good job but it is always nice for someone who is an independent external person to confirm that this is the case.
We will continue to work using the accreditation at the core of our business and make improvements where we can to enable us to provide the best service possible to our customers.
Colourflex Update
We have certainly had a busy few months! Having taken on a large contract with an International clothing manufacturer it has been all hands to the pump. Alongside this we have just completed a large re-branding order for one of our clients. This was a time consuming process and all involved were very pleased once the order was delivered! We are now beginning to help our clients in the busy run up to Christmas. We love this time of year and as the saying goes - it is great to be busy!!!!

Great news for Colourflex on this beautiful Friday afternoon. We have just been awarded a label contract with a large national company. It will certainly be all hands on deck for a while now but it is great to be busy! Have a fantastic weekend.

ISO 9001:2008
We have recently carried out our annual audit for our ISO accreditation. We passed again - and gained a third year in a row 100% pass rate (with no advisories)! We are very proud of our 100% record and find that the ISO really helps us to run a tight ship with the day to day running of the Company. A huge thank you must go to our Quality Manager Julie for all of her hard work keeping us all in line over the year.
We are now working towards the new ISO:2015 accreditation and will be audited on this for the first time next February - wish us luck!!!
Sign Writing is complete
After the purchase of our new van and after much discussion in the office (and taking advice from customers too) we finally decided on the images and text for our new van. We used a local company to undertake the sign writing and think that they have done a fantastic job - look out for us around and about.
Another busy week at Colourflex
We have had another very productive week at Colourflex. We are happy to support British Farming and have enjoyed producing a large quantity of Red Tractor labels for use within the Fruit and Vegetable market.
Introducing the newest member of the Colourflex team....
Yesterday we took delivery of the newest member of the Colourflex team. Our new long wheel base van. This upgraded van will allow us to transport three Euro Pallets in a single drop making our deliveries more cost effective on bigger orders.
British Red Tractor Promotion
We at Colourflex are proud to be involved in the latest Red Tractor Association promotion which allows customers of British Red Tractor Association approved produce a chance to win a £300 mini break every day from 11th September through to the end of November 2016.
It looks like September is going to be another very busy month for us - which is great news!
Getting to grips with the web site
Having worked with our web designers our new site is now up and running. We are very proud of the new site and hope that you find the information that we have provided to be useful - if there are any comments or ideas on how we can improve our site we would welcome these. Now that we have admin access we will be maintaining the site in house and hope that via our blog we are able to keep customers up to speed with all new developments at Colourflex. For now have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.
