ADHESIVE

Which adhesive is right for me?

62K - Freezer Adhesive:

Permanent, acrylic based adhesive. Adhesive 62K is particularly suitable for cold storage applications. Initial tack is excellent, even at ambient temperatures and on critical surfaces such as PE or PP films. This adhesive may be re-emulsified in water or in the dish washer, i.e. labels can be easily removed in wet state. High - very high tack Freezer: This highly abrasive, permanent adhesive has been designed to give a permanent bond even with exposure to extreme cold. This product also comes with a manufacturer’s guarantee of a five-year shelf life. Once this product has been applied it is extremely difficult to remove, it has very similar properties to permanent adhesive. Temperature tolerance for freezer adhesive is -30°C to 30°C. Suitable applications would include butchers, wholesale, dairy producers, fishmongers, catering, laboratories, chemical applications etc.

62D - Permanent Adhesive:

Permanent, acrylic based adhesive. Once label is applied to the surface it is not removable and cannot be easily repositioned. High - very high tack Permanent: Extra tough, permanent adhesive is ideal for an instant and permanent bond. Once this adhesive has been applied it can only be fully removed through scraping, washing or solvent based cleaning. Manufacturers guarantee a minimum of a five-year shelf life on this product. Temperature tolerance for permanent adhesive is -2°C to 30°C. Suitable applications would include warehouses, chemical industry, catering, logistics, transportation etc.

42N - Removable Adhesive:

Removable, acrylic based adhesive. Respositionable on most surfaces shortly after labelling. Clean removal with little or no adhesive residue. Applications to include cards, glassware, pottery etc. Low Tack - removable Peelable: Durable and long lasting, peelable adhesive will peel away from metal, plastic, fabric and many other applications. This adhesive is easily removed when required and leaves no residue. Unfortunately the label can not be re-used once removed. If application is to glass or paper based products, we would suggest the use of a super-peel adhesive. Temperature tolerance for peelable adhesive is -2°C to 30°C. Suitable applications would include chemists, video/cd/dvd cases, electrical goods etc.

N.B. All labels should be stored and applied at an ambient temperature and in a dry and dust free environment. If your environment differs from this, alternative and more specialist products are available.
